In 2015, 70 exhibitors generated more than $400,000 worth of NEW business for local companies as well as real support to improve the strength of our local businesses.
The Southern Business Market (SBM) has been redeveloped into a biennial event. Every other year, we hold Southern Auckland’s leading business to business networking expo. Our goal is to host an event for our region that provides opportunities for business owners to meet, promote their product/services and build relationships with other local business owners.
Opening from 2.00pm to 7.00pm, the Expo makes it easy for business owners to attend around other commitments. Filled with exhibitors, speakers and visitors, this event always delivers value for money.
Feedback from members suggested that an annual Expo was difficult to manage and that they would prefer a different opportunity every second year. This led to the development in 2016, of a Southern Business Market Networking Event. Our inaugural event showcased Auckland Council Mayoral candidates debating the importance of Southern Auckland to the Auckland region.
